Latisse Rebate Extension

Posted on June 21, 2010 9:37AM in Current Specials, Dr. LeRoy's Blog

Atlanta Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. John LeRoy offers several minimally invasive facial rejuvenation procedures including his originally developed Band Aid Facelift, Band Aid Blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), and Band Aid Brow Lift.  Dr. LeRoy also offers Latisse® to patients who wish to revitalize the appearance of their eyes through increased eye lash growth.

The topical prescription treatment works to increase the length of the anagen, or growth phase of the eyelashes, to lengthen existing lashes and increase the amount of new growth over 12-16 weeks of daily application.  If you suffer from hypotrichosis (an insufficient number of eyelashes) and have thought about trying the product now is a great time to start.

The makers of Latisse® are offering a $20 rebate to patients who register for the “Lash Perks” program on the Latisse® website before the end of August.  Registering is simple:  requiring only a short application and mailing in the coupon they give you once you submit the application along with the UPC label from your Latisse® prescription.

In addition to the rebate, Lash Perks members will also have access to news and any subsequent specials from Latisse® contact Dr. LeRoy’s office to schedule a consultation and find out if Latisse® could be right for you.

Plastic Surgery Trend: More and More Men Opting For Cosmetic Surgery Procedures

Posted on June 15, 2010 10:39AM in Dr. LeRoy's Blog

Most people agree that cosmetic surgery is more synonymous with women than with men, but the fairly recent trend of male plastic surgery procedures may disrupt that preconceived notion. Seventeen percent of men (according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) look at plastic and cosmetic surgery more favorably than they did 5 years ago – an indication that men are beginning to close the gender gap in the plastic surgery industry.

There is no question that there has been a decline in the number of plastic surgery procedures in recent years, due to the economy-dependent nature of the industry. But despite this fact, plastic surgeons everywhere, including Dr. John LeRoy, have been seeing a rise in the number of males coming into their practices and opting for cosmetic procedures.

According to a study by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the top five most popular cosmetic surgery procedures among men are liposuction, nose surgery (rhinoplasty), eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), male breast reduction (gynecomastia), and hair transplantation.

There also remains a preconceived notion that cosmetic surgery is a luxury for those that have enough money to indulge. However, with industry advancements, plastic surgery has become more affordable than ever. In fact, the largest group of cosmetic surgery consumers is made up of middle class women. With the rising popularity of male cosmetic surgery, middle class men are also opting for more and more procedures – with “average” guys going in for procedures that, in the past, they would not have considered.
If you are a man considering plastic surgery, but have more questions, including expected cost and recovery time, contact Dr. LeRoy’s office today.

Extension of Dysports Love it or Leave it Special

Posted on June 7, 2010 8:30AM in Current Specials, Dr. LeRoy's Blog

After well over 90% of patients choosing to “love it” in the Dysport® “Love it or Leave it Challenge”, the makers of the wrinkle removing product are choosing to extend the special until September 30, 2010!

If you missed Dr. LeRoy’s first blog about the challenge, here is how it works:

Patients who wish to try Dysport® can receive a $75 rebate on their first 300 unit injection. If they “Love it” they can follow steps on DysportUSA.com to receive an additional $75 rebate on their next Dysport® injection. If for some reason patients decide they are unhappy with the results, they can “Leave It” and can be treated with the competition product, Botox®.

Dysport® is a wrinkle removing injectable made with the purified toxin Botulinum. It works by relaxing facial muscles to reduce and remove existing wrinkles and furrows as well as prevent further wrinkling from forming.

To date, 49,000 patients have taken the challenge, and with over 90% choosing to love it – there really is nothing to lose! Contact the office of Dr. John Leroy and schedule your appointment to receive your first injection by September 30!
