Since a tummy tuck is typically an involved procedure that focuses specifically on the abdomen, how is a Band Aid Tummy Tuck performed in-office under gentle numbing?

While a traditional tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is a significant procedure, not every patient in need of a tummy tuck requires the full procedure. That’s exactly why I developed my “mini” tummy tuck. Using a different technique with my Band Aid version, I target areas that need the most attention. By focusing on these specific areas, only a short incision and gentle numbing are required. However, the ideal candidate for such procedure should only have a small area of excess fat and tissue, as larger amounts require the full procedure.

How does a Band Aid Tummy Tuck differ from the traditional version?

Rather than focusing on the entire abdomen, I use the Band Aid Tummy Tuck to focus only on the areas that require attention, so the incision is smaller. However, the biggest difference, and the one patients enjoy the most, is the shortened recovery time with the Band Aid Tummy Tuck.

How do I know if I’m a good candidate for a Band Aid Tummy Tuck?

Like my Band Aid Liposuction procedure, the Band Aid Tummy Tuck requires a very specific patient: a patient with a small amount of excess skin and fat in the abdominal region. Those who have more excess fat and skin require the traditional tummy tuck procedure.

After having my baby, I haven’t been able to get back to my pre-baby figure. I’m in decent shape with only small areas of concern. Is there such a thing as a “mini” mommy makeover?

The best part of a mommy makeover surgery is that it’s designed around each patient’s unique concerns and desires. However, most mothers’ concerns typically require a cosmetic breast procedure, tummy tuck, and liposuction. Some mommy makeover patients are in better physical shape than others; thus, Band Aid procedures may be appropriate. I am a breast cancer survivor. I went through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and then I founded and am President of a nonprofit foundation called Chemoflage. One of the main reasons that I wanted to investigate the Band-Aid face lift surgery was number one I did not want to be put to sleep. I have been through too much already. I found Dr. LeRoy and I heard about his Band-Aid surgery and it is a very simple procedure. No anesthesia.
