As we age, we have areas of the face and body where the skin becomes thinner and begins to lose its elasticity producing a wrinkled appearance. Fillers such as Restylane®, Juvederm™ or Radiesse® can be injected into certain areas of the face and body where volume has been lost.
As recently seen on the CBS television talk show, “The Doctors,” a new age-defying procedure is being performed: a procedure that diminishes wrinkles from the chest area between the breasts. This is a procedure I perform on a regular basis, but after this show aired, we began receiving quite a few phone calls about this wrinkle remover.
This procedure is very much like injecting a filler product into areas of the face. I inject an effective amount of filler (i.e.-Restylane®, Juvederm™ or Radiesse®) into the chest area between the breasts to bring back a more youthful appearance. The treatment takes about 15 minutes and results typically last about six months.
