St. Patrick’s Day is a holiday that is known for its lightheartedness. It’s a day we can all embrace our youthful spirit by dressing up in bright colors, celebrating with friends, and enjoying a few green beverages. Fun holidays like this remind me once again that our age is not a number that defines us. Every day, I have the pleasure of helping patients look as young and vibrant as they truly feel, so they can present a more honest image of themselves. So, in honor of the youth in each of us, our March specials highlight a few procedures that can give patients’ faces a splash from the fountain of youth.
Band Aid Laser Resurfacing
While most of my procedures focus on the skin’s contours, my Band Aid Laser Skin Resurfacing focuses instead on the quality of the skin itself. The name of this treatment is a perfect summary of how it works—by utilizing lasers that emit columns of light, I can stimulate the healing process that causes the body to discard damaged surface skin and reveal younger, fresher skin. The laser treatment also causes the body to produce collagen, the substance that gives the skin its elasticity and firmness, to strengthen the treated skin and give it a more youthful appearance. Band Aid Laser Skin Resurfacing not only helps patients to minimize signs of aging like wrinkles and age spots, but can also help patients to further enhance the results of plastic surgery, like a Band Aid Facelift.
Band Aid Skin Tightening
As another method of non-surgical facial rejuvenation, Band Aid Skin Tightening simply stimulates the body’s natural processes to produce tighter, firmer skin. The Protégé skin tightening system combines heat with its unique Energy Flow Control (EFC) technology to stimulate the body’s production of the natural skin-firming substance, collagen. This allows for precise treatment of the desired areas in order to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and lax skin on the face, neck, and chest.
Regardless of whether patients need Band Aid Laser Resurfacing or Band Aid Skin Tightening to correct the subtle aging that has already occurred, or whether they’re using these procedures in conjunction with plastic surgery in order to maximize their results, my commitment is to helping my patients be their most confident and beautiful selves; your first step is to schedule a consultation to discuss your best cosmetic options.
