What’s the Difference Between a Band Aid Facelift and a Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift?

Most people who are familiar with me or my plastic surgery practice have heard about my Band Aid Mini Facelift. I developed this unique procedure after my fellowship with the renowned surgeons at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. The goal of this surgery is to provide the powerful results only surgery can offer but with less recovery time, scarring, swelling, bruising, and cost. But ever since I introduced my Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift last year, my patients have been asking what makes this surgery different.

What’s the Difference Between a Band Aid Facelift and a Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift

To oversimplify, the Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift is a milder and less invasive version of the Band Aid Facelift. While the Band Aid Facelift cuts the downtime in half compared to a traditional facelift, the Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift cuts that downtime in half again. But ultimately, the difference between the two comes down to the type of patient they’re designed to treat.

The Band Aid Mini Facelift is ideal for patients who have reached a point of aging when they don’t only have wrinkles, but they have some sagging skin, too. They may be beyond the point when non-surgical skin tightening can make enough of a difference to make them happy. However, their aging is not necessarily severe enough to warrant a traditional facelift. In these cases, the Band Aid Mini Facelift is the perfect compromise. It allows patients to take years off their appearance with minimal effect on their day-to-day lives and with a natural-looking result.

The Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift, on the other hand, is designed primarily as a follow-up to a facelift or a Band Aid Facelift. As much improvement as facial rejuvenation surgery can make, there’s no way to stop the aging process altogether. In the years after your surgery, you’ll notice some new signs of aging appearing. Non-surgical procedures like Botox®, facial fillers, Band Aid Laser Skin Resurfacing, and Band Aid Skin Tightening can go a long way. But after about three to four years, most patients notice some new sagging skin that they would like to get rid of. In these cases, the Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift is an ideal solution.

As a double board-certified plastic surgeon in Atlanta, I see patients ranging the full spectrum of facial aging. Every patient’s procedure is tailored to their precise needs and cosmetic goals, but offering a wide variety of surgeries allows me to give each person exactly what they need and expect for them.
